When you have old pumpkins after Halloween or thanksgiving we will gladly take them! Definitely want a ton with seeds in them! We use pumpkins as a natural dewormer for our livestock! Contact us if you have pumpkins you no longer need! 🎃🎃

Did you know you can freeze fresh tomatoes to use for sauces, etc?!
Last year we were crossing our fingers that we had enough ones turned red so we could can sauce & now I have a solution to that problem! Our garden is chemical/pesticide free. We do companion planting and also use some all natural pesticides but the bugs still love our tomatoes once they start getting red so we pick them green or when they start to blush (yes I know the flavor is better when letting them ripen on the vine but I am not loosing my giant harvest to bugs 😂). That being said we pick a lot of them early and let them ripen in our house but they all don’t get ripe at the same time so I learned we can freeze them! I cut a very small amount off top and bottom of all the super red san marzanos and got them in gallon size bags. I’ve heard the skins can be tough after freezing so we will probably peel the skins this year - normally we just blend the skins down into our sauce and all has been well but since I’ve heard freezing can make the skins tough we will most likely peel them. So here’s the first batch of our giant harvest going in the freezer! I’ll keep everyone posted on how this works out for us!
