The ultimate goal for the PDC Foundation is to provide full financial assistance for high school seniors as they pursue their college education. The foundation is also looking to expand into other school communites to provide the same type of assistance; as well as focus on the aspects of mentoring for our youth. While servicing as executive members for PDC Foundation, Brian Pritchett, Dana Dogget
t and David Clarke continue to service their communities in their respective fields of education and law enforcement. Brian Pritchett is a fourteen year servicing as employee in the Mount Vernon City School District; currently servicing as an Assistant Principal. Dana Doggett is also a fourteen year education veteran; currently servicing as an Assistant Principal in the Prince George's County Public School System in Maryland. Lastly, David Clarke is a seven year veteran of the Mount Vernon Police Department. As recently as 2009, David Clarke was promoted to detective within the Mount Vernon Police Department. To date, the PDC Foundation has given away close to $20,000 in financial assistance and gifts for students within the Mount Vernon City School District. The foundation has also organized numerous educational trips and events nationally and internationally. On April 5- April 14, 2012 the PDC Foundation will travel to Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai, China with thirteen boys (grades 6-12) from Mount Vernon, New York. Before we travel to China, the boys will study Chinese culture as well as participate in community service projects in Mount Vernon. While in China, the boys will see all of the historical sites in China and visit several international school in Beijing and Shanghai. If you would like to sponsor a child; you will help pay for roundtrip airfare, clothing, food and lodging while in China.
