Prevent Summer Weight Gain with Fused Fit👇

Whether you join our Summer Strong program or not, you can follow our expert tips below to feel your best this Summer, and heading into Fall:

💪Stay Moving with Outdoor Activities: Take advantage of the beautiful weather and longer days by engaging in outdoor activities that keep you active and moving. Make it a point to schedule at least one outdoor-based activity per week. Consider hiking, biking, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, climbing, roller skating, the opportunities are endless.

💪Mindful Eating Habits: when there is so much good food around, and a lot of BBQ or travel plans try to create a foundation and daily nutrition habits. For example, set a goal of eating a serving of vegetables per day, protein in every meal, or 1 ice cream treat per week! We'll provide a habit tracker in our Summer Strong program to help you stay on top of healthy habits without being restrictive throughout the Summer.

💪Hydration: Stay hydrated throughout the day, especially when the temperatures rise. Drinking an adequate amount of water helps to optimize the body to work efficiently and detox as well as digest properly. Try to get 2/3 of your body weight in ounces of water per day! Water is one of the items that will be on the habit tracker we provide in our Summer Strong program.

💪Plan Ahead for Social Gatherings: Summer often means social events, happy hours and BBQs, where tempting foods and drinks are everywhere. Before attending these gatherings, have a light and healthy snack, so you're less likely to overindulge. You can also consider bringing a nutritious dish to share, ensuring that you have a healthier option available.

💪Keep Track of Your Progress: Monitoring your progress is essential for staying motivated and accountable. When you set goals, try to make them specific and not arbitrary and track your fitness achievements along the way. For example set a goal of 10,000 steps per day and check your health app, or watch wearable to see where you're at each day or collectively at the end of the week. We'll be visually tracking attendance during our Summer Strong program as positive reinforcement and as a motivator!

💪Seek Support from Our Community: Surround yourself with a supportive group of individuals who are on the same journey. Our gym offers a vibrant community of like-minded people who can inspire and motivate you to stay on track. And the fact that you can come as much as you want is a major PLUS, in our opinion.

At Fused Fitness, we believe that maintaining a healthy lifestyle should be enjoyable and sustainable, even during the summer months. Don't let this season get in the way of feeling your best!
