Peekskill Project is a public art festival devoted to bringing contemporary art out of the museum and into the community; specifically into spaces not normally used to present art. Using the city as a stage, Peekskill Project 6 will engage the urban environment and its inhabitants, while presenting site-specific art exhibitions, performances and workshops throughout the city. Peekskill Project 6 artist Jayoung Yoon has been quite busy! Not only can you see her work on display at HVCCA as part of the current exhibit, but she has been selected as an artist-in-residence at the Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts from May 15th through June 15th! The art will be on display from April 26-29 at 524 W. 26th St, with an opening reception to meet the artists on Thursday, April 27 from 6-8pm .

2017 Juried Fellows The Saltonstall Foundation supports artists and writers of New York State through two main programs that each take place in the residential buildings on the Foundation’s property.
