The Arcane Insignia is an Acoustic Prog Rock band formed in New York City by Lodrö Nyima. The band consists of Cello/Acoustic Percussion/Classical 7 string Guitar & Vocals, influenced by different styles and acts from A Perfect Circle to steven Wilson to The Contortionist and looks to incorporate different contrasts such as Neo-Classical with Metal while keeping the aesthetic entirely Acoustic. 14 years after its conception, it remains one of the most demanding vocal passages in our repertory, one that I feel I can execute satisfactorily 1 out of 50 times. Nothing can make me feel more vulnerable than publicly sharing a raw, unedited take riddled with mistakes, but I'm so glad we captured this moment.
Performing our entire catalog accompanied by (and synchronized with) the sounds of storms has added an entire new layer to our connection to the core of our sound. It feels as creative as it does primal, and even revisiting material from our first album feels like unearthing something so familiar and so novel at the same time.
Taken from our debut album, it'll be a part of our set on March 21rst at the annual Singer-Songwriter of Cape May 2026 conference & showcase. Open to the public & free admission, this special event will mark our first official performance outside of New York City. DM us for more info.

This year of the snake has been one of shedding, growing, reflecting, evolving. Going back on stage after releasing our album and reconnecting with the energy of performing live, of bonding with all of you in a deeper way and share these precious moments together has been incredibly humbling and rewarding. For this holiday season, we want to say thank you for making this an unforgettable year.
2026 is already shaping up to be an active year for us, with a performance at the Cape May singer songwriter conference marking our first time performing outside of New York City.
