Hi 🖤 I’m Ali.. I’ve been in the biz for 18 years and I am truly passionate about all things hair! I love creative cutting and coloring… Being able to make your vision come to life motivates me to be the best stylist I can possibly be. I am so grateful for all of my wonderful clients- new and old, near and far (so much love for my bklyn bbs). I am constantly learning and evolving as a stylist by keeping up with education, trends and new techniques.

When I’m not slinging shears, I’m at home doing my thing as a mama (human and dog) 🤍 My son is my motivation to be the best version of myself on a daily basis.
Other than hair- I’m a lover of animals, music, bubble tea, baking, Tetris, crafting, Scrabble and sleeping 😴

Hi everyone! Just a little update on returning to work and some changes that are being made. Starting the second weekend of March I’ll be back in the salon with a new schedule. I will be available for appointments Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays only.. as well as only handling business related inquiries on those days. My new schedule revolves around what is best for my life as a new working mother while also maintaining being at my best for you in the salon. Prebooking at the end of your appointment will be critical to ensure you get the days and times that work best for you. Saturdays especially will fill up quickly so book ahead as soon as you’re able to! If I am unable to accommodate you, we can set you up with one of the other incredible stylists at Slate for your hair needs.
