It was a privilege to join the Alvin City Council in recognizing Carol Nelson on her retirement as Superintendent of Alvin Independent School District.

Carol has dedicated more than three decades to Alvin ISD, serving in numerous roles before becoming superintendent and helping guide the district through tremendous growth and success. Her commitment to students, teachers, staff, and families has left a lasting impact on our community.

Thank you, Carol, for your years of service and leadership. On behalf of House District 29, I wish you a happy and well-deserved retirement and all the best in the years ahead.
