Today, we celebrate Founder’s Day as we honor the life, mission, and legacy of Saint John Baptist de La Salle — patron saint of teachers and founder of the Lasallian educational tradition.

More than 300 years ago, De La Salle transformed education by believing that every young person deserved access to quality learning rooted in faith, dignity, and compassion — especially those most in need. His vision led to the founding of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, now a global Lasallian family serving nearly one million students in more than 1,100 schools across 80 countries.
