Congrats to Diana, another successful former ESL student...we are SO proud of you!

Congratulations to Diana Garay, Valedictorian of the Class of 2020. Diana received her associate's degree in Liberal Arts/Humanities with highest honors. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and participated in the Honors Program. Diana immigrated to the US from Peru only three years ago, and started out at PCCC as an ESL student. At first unhappy in America, she nearly returned to Peru, but a prophetic dream about her grandmother strengthened her resolve to stay and succeed.
Diana will transfer to Rutgers-Newark on a full scholarship to pursue her bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in international relations. She plans a career as an international lawyer and hopes to work for the United Nations. Find Diana's entire story at: https://rb.gy/lx17l8
