Originally constructed in the 1950s, the K West Reactor exhaust stack had stood along the Columbia River since the reactor’s shutdown in 1970. The 175-foot structure was demolished this week as part of cleanup efforts led by the U.S. Department of Energy and Central Plateau Cleanup Company - a step toward placing the reactor into long-term safe storage.

Elite supported blast preparation and debris containment to help ensure a safe, controlled ex*****on.

Proud to support ongoing efforts to reduce long-term site risk at the Hanford Site.

This month marks 18 years since Elite was founded by Trini Garibay and David Magaña. What began with home remodels and tenant improvements has grown into Elite Construction + Development, delivering multifamily, mixed-use, government projects, and more, all guided by the same foundation that’s been in place from day one.

Looking back through moments from the past 18 years is a reminder of how far we’ve come. From the projects completed and challenges overcome, to the client and subcontractor partnerships that continue to shape our work and strengthen our community.
