30 years ago - on July 23, 1993 - I stepped for the very first time on American soil. I was 20 years young, full of hope and excitement, but also fear. I wondered what would it be like to live with my dad who left my country (Czechoslovakia) and our little family of 3 (my mom and my sister) when I was just 9 years old.
But I also wondered if I will be able to make something of myself in a country so new, so strange, and so vast.

Well - it was a hell of a ride for sure. There were so many ups and downs, but looking back at it now - it was a perfect ride for me.

I did what I promised to myself and much more:
- Mastered English language,
- Completed University degree in International Business,
- Established and maintained a successful skincare career for 20 years,
- Married my best friend (a NY boy with good morals and family),
- Strengthened my family ties,
- Traveled the world (6 of the 7 continents: Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Africa, Australia-Oceania),
- Walked the Red Carpet in Hollywood,
- Inspired and transformed many people’s lives with my personal life stories, my passion for skincare, and my love for family, animals, nature, and life.
- And most importantly, I stayed TRUE to myself.

I want to THANK my FAMILY (my mom Ludmila, my dad Vladimir, my sister Tatiana, my uncle Pavel and my hubby Daniel) for their never ending support and unconditional love. I would not experience any of that without them.
And, I also want to THANK ALL OF YOU, who are reading this post because somehow we met and you made a mark on my life journey path. We will always be a part of each other’s lives.
