According to the LA Times, Pasadena has more restaurants per capita than New York City. Needless to say, the restaurant scene is poppin’! That was part of the draw for restaurateur Jesse Gomez to open Mercado Pasadena, a modern take on Mexican food restaurant, in the South Lake Commercial area of the city. Jesse recently sat down with the Future Yourself Here Team to talk about how Mercado came to fruition and how one risky decision turned into a empire.
