As a Board Member of the Pasadena Business Association and the Program Manager for Opportunity Ministries, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us yesterday, July 11th. Together, we took down the weathered Route 100/Mountain Road flag and proudly raised its newly repaired replacement. This flag is a beloved Pasadena landmark, and your volunteer hours ensure it continues to fly high over our community. 🇺🇸✨

This project holds a special place in our hearts. Over the past 16 years of operating Opportunity Ministries in Pasadena and throughout Anne Arundel County, we have had the distinct privilege of honoring and serving many veterans through our residency program.

Seeing our community and our residents come together for this effort underscores the deep respect we hold for those who served. ❤️🎖️

SPECIAL THANKS to Tom Latta, PBA President, and Haley Bowerman , Executive Director, for their continued guidance and support. We are IMMENSELY GRATEFUL to PBA Members Dottie Snyder, our dedicated Flag Replacement Coordinator, and Mike Dacre for their outstanding leadership in organizing yesterday's efforts. 🙌👏

A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU also goes to Scout Pack 412. Thank you for rolling up your sleeves to help, and for graciously offering to retire the old American flag with the highest honor and respect. ⚜️👦
