Hope everyone had a great weekend! I put in a good bit of work on a new workbench/assembly table/outfeed table for my garage. Working off of a plan from JohnBuildsIt. Excellent plan and coming together perfectly. I didn’t snag a picture of the drawers installed, but the drawers are assembled and installed. Just have to cut the melamine top to size, band the top with hardwood, build the hardwood drawer fronts, and cut a couple of shelves. This assembly/outfeed table is going to dramatically improve the capabilities of my garage.

Whipped up a couple of basswood picture frames for a nursery. They didn’t want much thickness or glass so these are only 1/4” thick. This created some issues for joinery, but we got it figured out.

Shoe storage bench that I completed this month. Thermal treated ash top, poplar legs, and plywood construction for strength/stability. This is a great solution to clean up the pile of shoes by your entryway/mud room/back door. DM me for furniture inquiries.

Here’s a farmhouse style desk I finished up a few months ago. The top is made from thermal treated ash and finished with several coats of matte polyurethane. The color of the top is consistent throughout the wood due to the thermal treating. Desk dimensions are roughly 4’x30” on both sides for a truly large desk.

Here’s a rifle stock I finished out. It came rough from Richard’s Microfit for a Mossberg Patriot. I had to fit the action/barrel assembly to the stock, then I drilled for pillars and epoxy bedded the upper/action of the rifle. The stock is claro walnut with a rosewood tip and finished with Birchwood Casey’s Tru Oil buffed out to a satin/semigloss finish, and topped with paste wax for some additional protection.

What good is a coffee table if your tv is on the floor? This is a matching tv stand I whipped up for my now wife when I made the coffee table from the previous post.

One of my starter projects from a few years ago for my girlfriend at the time. She wanted a cheap coffee table and tv stand in a rustic/farmhouse look. She’s now my wife, so I guess she liked the table!
