She told me that I made her feel like home 🙈☺️💗

Literally, that’s the best compliment you can ever give a braider because one things for sure and two things for certain is that Africans don’t play about their braid services okay💞

For all of the raw butters, oils, and teas imported from Africa shop with

We used the raw African Shea butter on her tresses and the raw African caster oil on her scalp.

So far her and her babies hair has noticeable growth and is more manageable after using these products as well as hair care at the back bar.

On their first session with me, I straightened their 4a-4d curl types and gave them each a micro trim which eliminates a majority of their split ends all throughout their heads.

The micro trim is so necessary for clients with breakage and flyaways and all of those different lengths.

Traditionally only cutting length off of their ends would have been a disservice and their strands would’ve continued to split higher up the hair shaft.

Between prep, trimming, natural vegan hair products and not being so heavy handed when braiding, THIS IS A PROTECTIVE HAIRSTYLE.

Hair goal: Middle part sew in

🔑First major key to sectioning leave out is if the tail to your comb is exposed under your desired section, then the tracks will be exposed.

🔑 Use your rat tail comb as a guide for the density of your leave out section.

🔑Every client is different and requires different sectioning which should be determined during your service consultation prior to braiding the foundation.

Hair goal: Knotless Box Braids

Lately I’ve been braiding with Black Panther pomade for sleek roots, Raw African Shea Butter creme hair dress from on the scalp and hair length, and rastafri prestretched braid hair.

This combo has been keeping my fingers from feeling tender after my braid sessions and I absolutely love it💜

I always dip my clients braids in hot water to seal the ends of their braids which keeps them from unraveling.

🔑I only dip below the length of their natural hair to prevent their braids from getting fuzzy.

I’ll generally finish every braid session with a steam treatment. My client has been experiencing dry scalp so I oiled her scalp with Raw African Castor Oil from which is anti microbial before steaming her scalp with hot towels.

🔑The steam treatment also tames any braid hair fly aways so you can ditch using your shears after each braid.
