Ok now that those are read. Party time 🥳 ✌🏽

Ended up finding out this 68 th400 is one of the best cores to start out with. Lucky for once. Has most of the stuff the later 400s upgrade too and a smooth drum so I don’t need the 4L80 one. Just get a 34 element sprag, some good clutches and steels and a roller bearing and call it a day (I know I’m missing a few things).

Was thinking of going TransGo 1+2 kit but someone is going to teach me to do the valvebody mod myself. Going to be a stout transmission, a fun learning experience and more tools to buy 🙃.

Once I get a trailer for ole girl then I’ll go with a Manual Valve Body and spin that blower as fast as it will let me. For now, this will be more than enough to handle what I need to handle.
