Gothmorning, muffins! I know this isn't necessarily the post you expected but today is (that would be Amber)'s birthday.

Almost no one knows how long this woman has worked for me and I don't think I've ever fired her for more than 24 hours (and that was like, 12 years ago.) Amber and I met at the very tail end of 2009, and she began DJing at Gothika in 2010, in the spring. She's worked with/for me in one capacity or another ever since. In that time she's lived in 3 states, had a bunch of other jobs that mostly sucked, survived a ton of events (many of which have also sucked, to be fair.) and is still BF's manager and CSR human (trust me, it's better that way.) She flies in every year from the west coast to do events. No one can say she's not dedicated. Well I mean you can say it but you'll be lying.

Anyway, today is her birthday, so make noises at her. Happy birthday, Sushipants. (ok I need to explain that she had pants with a sushi print on them. Don't get carried away, here.)

Gothmorning, muffins! Ok. 3 in a row - we're on a roll. (look, Im trying, okay.) It's been a solid minute since I've featured our Gloom Cookies shower steamers and I have a bunch to make (I also have to make a bunch of bath bombs which hasnt happened in a while, so that's coming.)

If you're new around here, shower steamers are similar to bath bombs in that they provide an intense fragrance experience. However, unlike bath bombs, they contain no oil and are designed to be tossed into a hot shower where the steam contained therein will lift the fragrance throughout your bathroom, creating a kind of spa-like experience. (they're colored mostly because if you wear glasses, this way you dont accidentally trip over them in the shower. Also, they look pretty.) As happens, THESE specific ones also glow purple in the dark.

These are The Night Watch, which aside from glowing purple in the dark, are scented with a blend of franckincense, myrrh, cedar, oakmoss, sandalwood, and night blooming jasmine. Each pack is 6oz and the regular shaped ones (the skulls shown here) come 7 to a pack, providing you with a week's worth of showertime goodness.

Also, these are terrific for people with shallow bathtubs where you can't take a real bath worth a damn. You know who you are. I hear you.

I have a bunch of gloom cookies to make for orders and patreon things and even MORE bath bombs to make for orders, so that's what this week is looking like.

Will I make it to 4 in a row? I have no idea, but Im going to try.

Ok, two days in a row! What a streak! (seriously, it's been a problem lately.)

For the first time ever, I have Partytime shampoo bars and shave soaps in stock. Partytime is one of the single most difficult designs to pull off. The shave and shampoo bars are harder because of the curve on the bottom of the bar. Just trust that these zombies were a pain in the ass to catch.

The scent, if you don't know this already, is a blend of rose, calla lily, grave earth, oakmoss, sandalwood, reishi mushroom and rose hips. It smells like zombies, people.

get yours now - they sell out pretty quickly and they take ages to make. (the photo is of the shampoo bars, obviously.)
