It only seemed fitting to share the passing of a very special friend of Our Little Ranch, Sharon Cavaliere Nadrowski.
I met Sharon shortly after we opened the store and she became a fast friend, more like family. She bought so many things from the store that we lovingly named a very popular lamp style she loved after her... The Sharon Lamp.
She was an avid fan of paint nights where she loved to paint anything (and everything) dropcloth and black. She had an infinity for little tables ... chairs .... lamps .... (lol) She loved sweet wine and goat cheese with apricots from Whole Foods. Oh, how I miss our chats and all the fun we had
Rest in peace my sweet friend. Our sincere, heartfelt condolences to her husband Dave and her daughters, Jackie and Nicki and their families. Much love and comfort to you all. Sharon will never be forgotten.

I'm super excited to share our new endeavor ... the renovation of our second home in Galena, Illinois. While I prepare to shut down the Our Little Ranch page, I hope you'll follow me over to our new page at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089181533838.
My plan is to chronical the renovation through a series of posts, pictures and live videos. I'll take you through the good, the bad and the ugly of this renovation. The house is an almost 3,000 square foot home in Galena's downtown historic district. It was built pre-1900 and has some of the the coolest architectural elements inside. I'll share my DIY projects and my decorating ideas. I'll take you along on shopping trips .... we've been visiting some wild places!
