on to the recent operation of a COCESS at Dyess Air Force Base, SSG services a number of other DOD installations on an individual Request for Quote (RFQ) basis. SSG serviced numerous bases and FOB’s in Afghanistan for a number of years before opening our own ‘COCESS’ in Kabul in 2009. This operation provided in-theater stocking of base maintenance material. In essence, SpendSmart Group brought the idea of a COCESS to a dangerous war zone because of its understanding of base needs. We were the first and only of its kind in Afghanistan. SpendSmart Group, Djibouti was opened in March 2012 and provides in-theater stocking of MRO material out of its 6,000 square foot warehouse in the Djibouti Free Zone, Republic of Djibouti along with a smaller inventory on Camp Lemonnier. This operation acts as a “COCESS” to Camp Lemonnier and the US Embassy in Djibouti. SSG’s Djibouti also works on base at camp Lemonnier to successfully provide base support through project management and performing various construction projects.
