Fortunately, we live in an area that does not experience many of these natural disasters although there have been several in the recent past. Man-made disasters resulting from fires, chemical spills, and terrorism could strike our community at any time. Happy International Firefighters Day to all volunteer and career firefighters. We are especially thankful for the dedicated members of the Paramus Fire Department and Paramus Rescue Squad for their continued volunteer service and commitment to our community.
