Thank you to everybody who came out to celebrate our 103rd Annual Festa do Divino Espirito Santo with us this past weekend. Because of your support, we had a full hall all three days and nights!

We started with a beautiful rosary after the presentation on Saturday that ended with an amazing performance by Grupo Folclórico Retalhos Antigos from Artesia D.E.S.

Our Sunday procession was well attended by halls from Artesia, Chino, Tulare, Tipton, and Visalia, making for a great show for the local community. The Chino Choir did an amazing job in church, which made for a beautiful Mass. Artesia Philharmonic and the Filarmonica do Chino delivered a great band concert the crowd loved. Both Queens, Aides, and the Courts did an outstanding job with their Grand Marches.

Finally, the weekend finished with an amazing Monday night. The local community filled the hall for meat and beans, and The Lusitanos Band of San Diego kept the crowd dancing all night with some rock classics and Chamarrita!

Frank Borba did a great job as usual with delicious sopas on Sunday and meat and beans on Monday.

Thank you again to the local Portuguese community for your continued support of Hynes D.E.S. for 103 years! May the Holy Spirit bless you and your family.

Join us at 4:00 PM on Saturday to watch the Portugal game!

We will begin the Festa on Saturday, June 27. Starting at 4:00 PM, we will have a watch party for the Portugal vs. Colombia match. We will have drinks, sandwiches, and sweets ready.

After the game will be the presentation of the Queens, followed by the praying of the Rosary. We will finish with a performance by Grupo Folclórico Retalhos Antigos.
