The left continue to destroy anything American and Patriotic. They only want to tear down and ruin our history. That is their mantra. That’s what they’ve been doing for years, burning buildings and destroying statues…. Shame on you scumbags!!!!!

The Trump administration continues cleaning up after the America-hating left:

Greg Wischer at the United States Department of the Interior: “After 6 long years, the original cannons that previously surrounded the Andrew Jackson statue in Lafayette Park but were damaged in the 2020 riots have been returned to their rightful location around the statue.

The four cannons—El Witiza, El Egica, El Apolo, and El Aristeo—were captured by Andrew Jackson from the Spanish in his Pensacola Campaign in 1818.

El Witiza and El Egica had been cast at the royal foundry in Barcelona in 1748 and were named for two Visigoth kings, while El Apolo and El Aristeo were cast in 1773 and were named for two Greek gods.

The first photo below shows the damaged cannons and the destroyed cannon carriages, which support and transport the cannons, during the 2020 riots.

The second photo shows the state of the Andrew Jackson statue and returned cannons today. (The National Park Service team is now whitening the marble pedestal for the Jackson statue.)”

The United States and Iran have wrapped up a high-level summit in Switzerland, agreeing to a roadmap to reach a final deal within 60 days.

The breakthrough talks, brokered by Qatar and Pakistan, are focused on formally ending the military conflict in Lebanon and de-escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Following intensive diplomatic efforts at the Bürgenstock Resort on Lake Lucerne, here is where the negotiations stand:

• Lebanon Deconfliction: A central achievement of the summit was establishing a committee and framework to end hostilities and oversee the ceasefire in Lebanon.

• Roadmap to a Final Deal: Mediators confirmed that both nations agreed to a 14-point memorandum of understanding and set a 60-day timeline to negotiate a permanent peace agreement.

• Sanctions & Assets: As part of the preliminary framework, the U.S. Treasury Department waived sanctions on the sale of Iranian crude oil, petrochemicals, and petroleum products. Iran also reported an agreement to release $12 billion in frozen assets.

• Nuclear Inspections: U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that Iran agreed to allow international nuclear inspectors to return to the country. However, Iranian officials clarified that real negotiations on the "nuclear issue" are still to come.

• Next Steps: While top-level officials returned to Tehran and Washington following the initial 18 hours of meetings, technical working groups and implementation teams remain in Switzerland to hash out the details.

President Donald Trump has struck an aggressive yet triumphant tone regarding the Switzerland peace negotiations, claiming that Iran has been forced into making "very big concessions" due to a thoroughly weakened military and strategic position.

While Vice President JD Vance managed the face-to-face diplomacy in Bürgenstock, Trump has actively driven the narrative from Washington, combining warnings of renewed military action with celebratory claims about the terms of the 60-day roadmap.

Trump's public remarks on the negotiations center on several key assertions and demands:

Claims of Nuclear "Infinity" Inspections In sections Mandate: Trump claimed on Truth Social that Iran "fully and completely agreed to highest level nuclear inspections long into the future (Infinity!)"

Ultimatum Issued: He explicitly stated that if Iran did not agree to these rigorous oversight terms, there would be "no further negotiations".

Pushback Against Tehran: When Iran's foreign ministry publicly denied scheduling any such IAEA inspections, Trump insisted the Iranians were "wrong" and that inspectors will be on the ground "at the appropriate time," warning he would cancel the meetings immediately if Iran backed out.

Nuclear Capacity Elimination: Trump claimed the U.S. is successfully leaving Iran "without any nuclear capacity" and with "no missile capability," though critics point out that enriched uranium remains inside Iran.

Force Posture and Military Threats Active Deterrence: Trump emphasized that all U.S. military warships will remain positioned in the region to immediately "reinstitute the Blockade" if Iran fails to uphold its commitments.

Proxy Warnings: During the opening hours of the summit, Trump threatened to launch further devastating strikes on Iran if its proxy forces continued hostilities or caused unrest in Lebanon.

Strait of Hormuz Tolls and Maritime Assets U.S. Controls: Trump warned that there will be "NO TOLLS" permitted in the strategic Strait of Hormuz unless they are imposed "by and for the United States".

“Guardian Angel" Fee: He floated the idea that the U.S. could levy its own transit fees on passing ships, framing it as payment for acting as the "Guardian Angel" protecting Middle Eastern waters.

Agricultural Mandate: He asserted that the $12 billion in unfrozen Iranian assets released under the roadmap must be strictly used to buy corn, soybeans, and other products from American farmers.

Dismissal of Political Critics"Educating" the Opposition: Brushing off skepticism from hardline conservative allies like Senator Ted Cruz, Trump countered that his critics simply "have to be educated".

Leverage Boast: He argued that his administration has put Iran in a uniquely vulnerable negotiating position that "should have been done for 47 years by other presidents".
