Last week we played our final tournament of the spring 14u season. This last year has been amazing to say the least. Others would look at these young ladies and think “This will be an easy out”, but this is farther from the truth. This group of young ladies play with grit, determination, respect and for one another. All year long more then not, these ladies were competing for bling in several gold bracket appearances. We were missing two of our core ladies for the World Series and because of our amazing org, we picked up two amazing young ladies to compete for the week!

When these young ladies played to their strengths, it was pure entertainment to watch. Coach Thomas and I would say it all the time, fundamentals over the chase and by default the wins will come. We had some huge wins as a team this year and to think 4 out of our core 10 should be playing 12u. 6 out of the 10 this That is a true testament of what these young ladies are able to accomplish.

Thank you to all of the families who were on this journey with us, this past year. Thank you to the families of Guidas, McNair, Bellamy, Anzivino, Shaw, Moyà, Jimenez, Mayo, Garcia, Ortiz, Hillman, Obert, Mellies, Hall, Gainer, and several more. Thank you for believing and trusting in the process.

As we take the fall season off, we are excited to see what these young ladies future will be. We know they will achieve amazing things. We will be stronger for the bonds created and will be back strong come the spring season.

To our amazing org Gulf Coast Riptides, thank you for the support. This last year has placed everyone on notice, that RIPTIDES are here to stay and we are ready to battle.

It’s that time again and we have an amazing raffle for our baseball/softball and slow pitch player. Here is your chance to win a new bat for your craft. While helping an amazing group of young ladies. You can purchase a ticket straight from the org, player or parent. Reach out today for your ticket!

As well know, travel ball is not the cheapest sport out there. Although we try and keep fees as low as possible, the girls and families can still use a little help.

We are having a bat raffle to raise some funds for our 6 teams. Looking to give away four bats.

We will have a live drawing February 10 at our Riptides Day fundraiser.

Winners will get a $500 voucher that they will be able to take to Almega and purchase or order the bat of your choosing.

If you are sending it to sponsor a certain player of ours, please put there name in the comments as well.

There is small challenge between the teams and this will help us out with tracking.

We will then write your name down and add it to the drawing bowl.
