Before students are ready to learn, they need something even more important.

At EBC, Breakfast Club is designed with that in mind.

Each week, our Student Support Counselors prepare and serve breakfast, creating a consistent space where students can connect with trusted adults before transitioning into the school day.

For students who arrive with different morning routines, long commutes, or varying needs, that predictability matters. It offers time to settle in, build relationships, and begin the day feeling supported. Participation also recognizes the positive choices and school readiness students demonstrate, reinforcing the habits that help them succeed both in and out of the classroom.

It's a simple tradition, but one that reflects a core belief at EBC: when students feel known, supported, and connected, they are better positioned to learn.
