For National Nurses Day, we are proud to feature Unsha Bakker, MSN, RN, OCN, CBCN, our Brain Cancer Support and Solutions Alliance (BCSSA) Nurse Navigator.

In collaboration with Head for the Cure, the Musella Foundation For Brain Tumor Research & Information, Inc, and Cancer Commons, Unsha plays a pivotal role in supporting the brain tumor community. With over a decade of nursing experience, she brings both expertise and compassion to help patients navigate a brain tumor diagnosis.

“I have found my calling in oncology nursing. This field has deeply impacted me and has opened my heart tenfold. The patients and loved ones I interact with each day have brought new meaning to my life,” Unsha shares.
