🖤TW: Infertility🖤

We’re sorry we have been more and more absent the last year (or two, let’s be honest) and thought we should share why. Ray and I have been trying to grow our family for over 5 years with no success. After a few years of patience and testing we moved onto trying multiple rounds of IUI from 2023 to 2024 - resulting in zero pregnancies. This was all so very draining and devastating.

In 2024 we took some time off for ourselves and it was MUCH needed. Time off from social media, from our business, and from constantly thinking about trying to have a baby. We just wanted to get back to feeling like “us” again. It felt like trying to get pregnant was sucking the joy out of our life.

In Fall 2024 after we had recovered a bit we began the IVF process and first egg retrieval. Oof. This is why our hearts and minds have been preoccupied. We’re now prepping for our first embryo transfer in February and when I tell you it’s an everyday rollercoaster of emotions… I ain’t lying.

I’ve been anxious to share all of this publicly but recently shared a reel on the topic and received such love that I wanted to share with you all as well. 🖤 (I’ll share to stories here in case you’d care to read more of my thoughts). I meant what I wrote in that post - if you’re going through the same awful journey you’re not alone. If you need someone to talk to you can reach out. 🖤🖤🖤

Please know that we love and appreciate all of you. Thank you for your years of supporting Shawsquatch, we’re still here we’re just quiet. We do have some ✨EXCITING EVENTS ✨ coming up this year but overall we are focusing on IVF. Y’all are amazing, thank you thank youuu 🙏
