The emphasis is on fun, fitness, and learning proper technique. SprocKids receive instruction in mountain biking from enthusiastic, dedicated, all-volunteer coaches. Kids will also learn proper care and handling of equipment, trail etiquette, good sportsmanship and how to act responsibly in the outdoors. This program is family-oriented; parents are welcome to participate in all the activities.

As our 2026 Sprockidz season winds down, we’d like to ask one small favor from every family: please take a moment to thank your coaches.
Our coaches give up a huge portion of their summer to invest in your kids and sometimes us adults, too. They volunteer their time, energy, patience, and encouragement every single week, completely free of charge.
Many of our coaches don’t even have children in the program. They show up simply because they love mountain biking, they love coaching, and they genuinely care about these kids.
A heartfelt “thank you” goes a long way. If you’d like to do something extra, our coaches would also be incredibly grateful for a handwritten card or a small gift. Those thoughtful gestures mean more than you know.
To every coach: thank you for making this season possible. We couldn’t do it without you.

Hey everyone! Head coach Grace, just got done walking the trails up here at GPRA and has determined that they are not going to be safe to ride tonight! They are saturated and slick which does not make for safe riding. We are still planning on doing our end of year party on Wednesday! So we will see you guys there!!
