Modernism Week

Albert Frey and A. Lawrence Kocher's Aluminaire House made its debut at the Allied Arts and Industries exhibition in New York City in 1931. They designed the house in 11 months, and built it in 11 days. 🤯

It now resides at the Palm Springs Art Museum, thanks to the steadfast efforts of many preservationists, educators, community leaders, and generous donors who helped to bring this historic structure to Palm Springs.
