Watch the Replay: HR, New Hires, and Pre-Employment Physicals. What should Human Resources Do?
As much as we think things have shifted some things stay the same, or so we assume. As our title says, assume nothing.
We hope to answer several critical questions, some of which have been posted to our clinic partner – Physicians Health Center, like:
What about doing Drug Testing or Post-offer Physicals during COVID19 – Can we still do them? How? Is it safe?
One of our recurring questions: Can we add COVID19 testing to the drug or pre-employment testing process? NO – you can’t. But I digress.
This webinar answers critical questions about Drug Testing, Physicals, and DOT Compliance during COVID19, questions like:
• What happens if the employee is due for a DOT Drug test or physical during COVID19 can we still send them for the test?
• If the employee doesn’t want to go for the DOT drug test today – will he or she be ready to return to work when we do?
• If the employee is on furlough or was laid off – do we have to retest them when we resume operations?
• Do we need to provide masks and gloves to employees who are going in for drug testing?
• How do we handle post-offer drug testing when we are working remotely? Can an employee delay their testing until we are back operational (but we want to have him or her to start working now)?
• What happens if we can’t do the random drug testing because everyone is on quarantine do I still get my drug free workplace credit?
• What if I can’t get my DOT Drug screenings done on time due to COVID19 do I get an extension?
• What if the employee claims that they got COVID19 after we sent them for random drug testing? Yikes, (maybe we can’t answer this one)

If your organization hasn't had an employee test positive for COVID19, you're lucky. Our clients are vacillating between having extreme outbreaks to having a few employees notifying them that they have tested positive - and they are stressed. Most have not connected the dots between OSHA and Workers' Comp - this will be a costly mistake.
Every employer is struggling to manage and navigate their workers' compensation requirements with their OSHA compliance mandates. This course connects both under one umbrella.
THIS WORKSHOP ASKS TOUGH QUESTIONS AND WE PROVIDE SPECIFIC ANSWERS TO HELP YOU NAVIGATE COVID19 EFFECTIVELY.
What is your process when employees ask you to report their COVID19 exposure to workers' compensation? What is your investigation workflow? What questions can you ask? What questions should you ask? What questions should you avoid? GREAT Questions. We will answer them within this course workshop.
What's Included:
Three Recorded Video Sessions:
Part 1: Understanding OSHA Compliance and OSHA Mandated Investigations
Part 2: Defining Your Workers' Compensation Investigation Process
Part 3: Creating a COVID19 Workflow When Employees Test Positive
You will also receive the replay of the two OSHA Compliance Webinars we recorded in May.
But the most significant question for employers...How will you protect sensitive data, like test results? While investigating and notifying affected employees?
Workshop: Investigating COVID19 Workers' Comp Exposure Claims For HR: What is Your OSHA & Workers' Comp Process When an Employee Reports a COVID19 Positive Status or Exposure? How do you protect sensitive data while investigating the exposure? What is your workflow? What can you ask? This workshop connects HR, Workers Comp, and OSHA Investigation Register Now!
