Two hour mirror self portrait.
Chasing the sunlight while standing in the same place.
As I was painting, the light from the window kept shifting, and it made me think about the philosophy of my own life.
Maybe I am chasing the light too but in a way that serves me. Without force. Without trying to control everything.
My panel already had texture, so I let the foundation reveal itself. I painted in my own colors, with my own attitude and rawness, and somehow it works for me.
