🚨🚨 OKAY… WHO LET THIS HAPPEN?! 🚨🚨

📊🐾 Rux, our CEO, has been busy crunching the numbers (between naps, snack breaks, and very important supervisory duties), and he wanted everyone to know…

With this weekend’s new intakes, Space Coast Frenchie Rescue has officially hit 610 dogs in just THREE YEARS. 🤯🐾

And plot twist… that’s not even the full number because some of our very first intakes never made it into our original tracking system. So… 610+ is probably the real answer. 😂

Six hundred and ten.

That’s 610 dogs who got a second chance.
610 happy snorts
610 fresh starts.
610 reasons we keep saying, “Just one more.” 🥹❤️

We’re honestly just a bunch of emotionally attached volunteers with car keys, coffee, group chats that never stop buzzing, and absolutely ZERO chill. 😂☕🚗

But here’s the thing…

WE didn’t save 610 dogs.
WE ALL DID. ❤️

To every foster who turned their home upside down…
To every volunteer who drove all over Florida…
To every adopter who said, “Yep, that’s my dog.”
To every donor who skipped a coffee and sent $5 instead…
To every person who shared a post, bought a raffle ticket, cheered us on, cried with us, celebrated with us, or simply believed in what we do…

YOU ARE SPACE COAST FRENCHIE RESCUE. 🫶

Seriously… give yourself a round of applause. 👏👏👏

Because rescue isn’t just about the people holding the leash. It’s every single person standing behind them.

610 lives changed.
Thousands of smiles.
Countless happy endings.
A whole lot of tears.
And probably enough dog hair to build another Frenchie. 😂🐶

From all of us including our fearless CEO, Rux thank you for believing in rescue, believing in these dogs, and proving that when a community comes together, incredible things happen.

Now… respectfully… can everyone manifest a week with no emergency vet bills? 😅😂

We love you all. Here’s to every life we’ve changed and every one that’s still waiting for us. ❤️🐾

🚨💖 MAIN CHARACTER ALERT 💖🚨

Everyone, please welcome the newest queen to the Space Coast Frenchie Rescue squad… 👑✨ PENELOPE! 🎀

Miss girl is under 2 years old and has officially entered her ✨new chapter✨. So far she’s been incredibly sweet, absolutely adorable, and giving total “I deserve snacks and compliments” energy. 😂💅

We don’t know much about her history yet, and honestly… she’s keeping us on a need-to-know basis. 🤭 She’s busy settling in, learning that comfy beds are a thing, and deciding which volunteer she’s going to wrap around her tiny paw first.

Before anyone asks… 🚫 She’s not available for adoption yet! She still needs her intake, vet visit, and time to decompress before she’s ready to start accepting applications from her future family.

Until then, let’s make her feel like the celebrity she clearly believes she is. 📸✨

Drop a 🎀, 👑, 💕, or “Welcome, Penelope!” in the comments and help us show this sweet girl that her best days are finally here. Welcome to the family, Miss Penelope… we think you’re going to fit in just fine. 🩷🐾

🐾💙 Everyone, please give a big Space Coast Frenchie Rescue welcome to Luka! 💙🐾

This adorable little guy is around 8 months old, and yes… he’s just as cute as he looks! 🥹

Before anyone asks, Luka is NOT available for adoption yet. He has just arrived in rescue and needs time to settle in. He’ll be seeing our veterinarian for a full intake exam, getting everything he needs medically, and then he’ll be neutered before he’s ready to find his forever family.

We’re already learning a little about him, and one thing is clear Luka loves his people. He does have some separation anxiety, so we’re going to spend time helping him build confidence and making sure we understand exactly what he needs to be successful in his future home.

A quick favor from our rescue family: please don’t flood our page with messages asking to adopt Luka right now. We are incredibly busy with all of the new intakes coming into rescue, managing medical appointments, and caring for every dog in our program. Unfortunately, we simply can’t keep up with individual adoption inquiries while trying to save lives.

If you’ve been thinking about adopting, now is the perfect time to submit your application and get pre-approved. That way, when Luka is ready, you’ll already be connected with one of our adoption volunteers and be ready to move forward.

As you’ve seen, we’ve welcomed so many new dogs recently, and every intake comes with veterinary care, medications, food, supplies, and unexpected expenses. If you’d like to help, please consider making a donation. You can sponsor Luka directly, donate toward another dog in our care, or simply give to the rescue so we can continue saying “yes” to dogs that have nowhere else to go. Every dollar truly makes a difference and helps us give these pups the fresh start they deserve.

For now, let’s give this sweet boy the time, patience, and love he needs as he begins his new chapter. Welcome to the family, Luka we’re so happy to help with your next chapter… 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵

🦁🌅 Everything the light touches… is Pumba’s new kingdom. 🌅🦁

The Pride Lands have welcomed a very special new gentleman… Pumba! 👑❤️

At 5 years old, this sweet boy has already weathered a few storms. He had been living outside, but those days are behind him now. His journey has led him to a wonderful foster dad, where he’s discovering soft beds, full bellies, and all the love he has been missing.

If there were one word to describe Pumba, it would be shadow. Wherever his people go, he’s right there beside them, happy just to be included. He’s gentle, loyal, and has the biggest heart.

Hakuna Matata, sweet boy. Your worries are finally starting to fade, and your next chapter is just beginning. We can’t wait to watch you thrive and find the forever Pride Lands you truly deserve.

Everyone, give our newest king a warm Space Coast Frenchie Rescue welcome! 🦁💛🐾

🎻💐 Dearest Gentle Readers,

Pray gather ’round and offer the warmest welcome to our newest lady of the season… Miss Charlotte. 👑🌸

At the distinguished age of 7 years, Lady Charlotte has endured a most difficult chapter. Through no fault of her own, she found herself living outdoors these past several weeks, awaiting the kindness of someone willing to change the course of her story.

Now, her fortunes have begun to turn. She has enjoyed a well-deserved bath fit for a lady, received her flea treatment, and this week she shall make her grand visit to the veterinarian for her intake, vaccinations, and a full examination so we may learn exactly what care she requires.

Despite all she has endured, Charlotte has remained nothing short of sweet, gentle, and utterly charming. She is ready to leave the hardships of yesterday behind and embrace the life every lady deserve one filled with warm beds, loving hands, and happily-ever-afters.

Please join us in welcoming our newest darling to the Space Coast Frenchie Rescue family. May her next chapter be her very best. 🤍🐾✨

💙 Today was one of those days that reminds us rescue is truly a team effort. 💙
We want to take a moment to give a HUGE shoutout to the incredible people who spent their day driving all over Florida to make sure these dogs made it safely to Space Coast Frenchie Rescue. 🚗🐾
Transporting rescue dogs isn’t glamorous. It’s long hours, miles on the road, rearranged schedules, gas money, and a whole lot of heart. Because of you, dogs that had nowhere else to go are now safe and on their way to a brighter future.
To every volunteer who drove, coordinated, waited, and made today’s transports happen… THANK YOU. You are the reason we can continue saying “yes” when dogs need us most.
Please help us show these amazing humans some love in the comments! ❤️👏 Rescue truly takes a village, and today our village showed up in the biggest way. We couldn’t do this without you. 🐶🐾

💔 muffin has an announcement!!!

❤️‍🩹Some days in rescue feel heavier than others.

Today, four more dogs are being surrendered into our care.

Four more lives that didn’t ask for their world to be turned upside down. Four more dogs that are counting on us to say, “We’ve got you now.”

We’re exhausted. Our fosters are stretched thin. Our volunteers all work full-time jobs, yet they continue to show up day after day because these dogs deserve a second chance. The medical bills never stop, but neither does our commitment to these amazing pups.

If you’ve ever wondered if sharing a post, buying a raffle ticket, donating a few dollars, or telling a friend about our rescue makes a difference… today is that day.

🙏 Please help us by sharing our current raffles. Every ticket purchased helps us continue saying “yes” to dogs like the four arriving today. Every share could reach a future adopter, foster, volunteer, or donor.

We also want to take a moment to say thank you. ❤️

To our incredible volunteers thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your hearts. To our amazing fosters you open your homes and love these dogs as if they were your own, and we simply couldn’t do this without you. And to our entire Space Coast Frenchie Rescue family our adopters, supporters, donors, transporters, event volunteers, and everyone who likes, comments, shares, and cheers us on you are the reason this rescue keeps moving forward.

Today we may feel overwhelmed, but we’re also reminded of how lucky we are to have such an incredible village standing beside us.

Please keep our team and these four new babies in your thoughts as they begin their next chapter. We promise to give them everything we’ve got we’re just asking our village to help us carry the load.

From the bottom of our hearts… thank you for believing in rescue. Thank you for believing in us. ❤️

🩵💙update foster found for Pumba! Shane stepped up and committed to him.

🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR PUMBA 🚨
Meet Pumba 🩵, a 5-year-old English Bulldog who needs a foster ASAP.
From everything we’ve been told, Pumba is exactly what you’d expect from an English Bulldog:🐾 Sweet🐾 Fun-loving🐾 Happy-go-lucky🐾 A goofy bulldog through and through!
We haven’t had much time with Pumba ourselves, but every interaction we’ve had has been nothing but sweet.
Unfortunately, his current situation isn’t the best, and we’d love to get him into a safe, loving foster home as soon as possible. The sooner we can move him, the better.
Pumba is being surrendered to us we don’t have a lot of information but can not say yes without a foster.
🏡 Can you help? Fostering truly saves lives, and without our incredible fosters, we can’t continue saying yes to dogs in need.
📍Fosters must be able to bring their foster dog to our veterinarian in Melbourne, FL, for appointments. We cover all medical care you provide the love.
💙 If you can foster Pumba, please reach out today. If you can’t foster, please share this post. The right person may see it because of you.
