Just one year ago, he decided to try climbing. Now, he's crushing Tenacity's boulder problems on a regular basis. Parker Gerard is this week’s featured member!

“I think after that first climb with my brother, I started looking into it and became sort of obsessed,” Parker says, describing how his climbing journey began. “I was trying to find somewhere local to climb on days where I couldn't go outdoors.” A friend recommended he check out our gym and, since then, he's become one of Tenacity's cherished regulars.

Parker encourages others to try climbing as well. He admits that the sport is not without its challenges, but “breaking through those points where you're stuck gives you a little five seconds of success.”

He also says not to let a fear of heights stop you!

“I was terrified of heights but working through that has been really gratifying.”
