Congratulations to the United for 44 slate on their victory in the ADEM District 44 race. I'm disappointed I won't be representing our district this time around, but I'm grateful and honored to have received support from Democrats across Ventura County. Running for ADEM gave me a deeper knowledge of and appreciation for our community, and I'll continue to do all I can to strengthen Ventura County and advocate for a more pro-environment, anti-poverty Democratic Party. Thank you!

Two years ago today, I joined my first Citizens Climate Lobby meeting. Since then, I've been an active volunteer promoting its solution to climate change: federal carbon fee-and-dividend legislation. I enjoyed the chance to applaud their approach in their ADEM candidate questionnaire.
