A little update on Brian’s 63 Continental. We were wanting to clean up the engine bay a bit and played around with a few ideas but finally landed on building panels to bolt in.

Cut fl**ges on the plasma table that follow the shape of the frame rails, built the panels off that and meet at the top fl**ge to close it off.

Moved battery to the trunk, cut out the hidden rotted battery tray, closed it off with new steel and built perfectly symmetrical panels on the passenger side.

Plans to tidy up and tuck remaining wires for the front end, relocate the heater and AC hoses to pass through the inner fender and disappear.

Lots more to come on this project!

Masked off flames by hand for a one-year-only pattern from a Ford F350. Last pic is from a truck online. Also customer had vinyls on the doors and wanted them painted on and buried in the clear.

Putting it back together and sending this one home this week!
