Steph Lee formed Rob's Rescue in 2011 in honor of her friend Rob Morrow. Steph met Rob when he adopted a sweet elderly one-eyed stray cat named Old Grey that Steph rescued near Joppa, Maryland. A few more of Ayla and her baby boy…

Huck and Ayla have found their forever home — after several months of holding them for adopters who suffered setbacks, I flew them to Wisconsin where they’re now settled into the best home ever — for those who guessed my mom, kudos to you! She and her husband John were anxiously awaiting their new fur babies and they didn’t disappoint; Huck entertains them with his high wire acts and death defying leaps, while Ayla warms up with each week, trusting herself to affection and begging for treats. Huck is now called Buddy as he’s always answered to various nicknames and Buddy just seemed to stick. Both are happy and healthy and loving all the birds and chipmunks that keep them vigilantly watching from the many windows and cat perches. The community cat visits daily and they seem to have an understanding involving long hard stares and exchanges in cat language. It’s so wonderful to see them having the run of the house and their own loving family all to themselves. I look forward to seeing them every trip home; they’re now added to the long list of loved ones that I sorely miss and can’t wait to see again. I’ll update everyone on their first Wisconsin winter which I’m sure will prove interesting! Thanks for all who supported me through this long year of fostering Ayla and her babies; we can all rejoice at this happily ever after story. 😹

Recovered from their neuter surgery, the boys are enjoying their donated toys and pretty much demolishing the cactus scratching post, which seemed a lot bigger just a couple weeks ago.
If you are interested in adopting one of the kittens or Ayla, please contact me at [email protected].
We are in need of supplies, which can be donated via Chewy by using our rescue wish list, or by giftcard which can be sent directly to [email protected].
We have two outside moms with litters to spay and neuter, along with a few new faces requiring TNR.
Please help us cover those costs by donating via PayPal using our email address, which is [email protected].
As a 501c3 nonprofit, all donations are tax deductible and much appreciated.
