Attention All Friends and Customers of The Houkup, LLC:
First we want to say thank you for your patronage, loyalty and support. It was only because of the patience and understanding of our landlord that we remained as long as we did. We are sincerely sorry that things did not work out for us at this present time. We are however in the process of attempting to turn the Lounge we created for all of the people that needed it so much into a NON-PROFIT Organization that will operate under the name of “ The Wreck”, it has been established already and is going to be considered a youth organization/recreation center. We have been working on this now for about 6 or 7 months. As a result of this, it takes a lot of paperwork and meetings. We have been and still are applying for grants to get funding to remodel and open at a different location. We haven’t forgotten about our loyal customers that purchased passes and intend to honor those at the new location whenever feasible. The Lounge became so much more than we had anticipated and we want to ensure that going forward we can maintain it as such. I know that there are many questions that may need to be answered and we are happy to do so. Please feel free to email us any information in order for us to contact you; you may leave a phone number, email or even an address if you prefer us to mail you information instead. Again we are very sorry that things worked out the way that they have, we do not intend to leave without word so please contact us as soon as possible and we will give you any information we have available and will keep you up to date as we make progress towards our future goals.

just an update, we are working to turn this into a non-profit organization, sorry for the delay, its a process that takes time, but if we work this out right, we will get the funding to make the place the way we wanted when we opened, and not have to worry about the doors closing again, thanks for your patience

WE WANT TO DO IT AT A COMMUNITY CENTER SO WE NEED IDEAS AND WE ARE STILL WORKING WITH AN INVESTMENT COMPANY AS WELL. IN THE MEANTIME WE ARE ACCEPTING DONATIONS. This is a late post...to those of you that dont already know...The internet has been temporarily shut down as of may 17th..due to reasons unknown...we are working on the situation and will have the internet back up and running soon...until then though...we still offer many games and systems to play as well as the free coffee, wifi, foosball, and airhockey....and we are still a dollar an hour..so come on down...
