As you can see, always do your research!
The skin should not be stained (in this case very red) if the artist uses the correct color base…The previous artist used a red base (most likely to compliment her hair) but not taking into account she has very fair skin and it would never fade away completely if desired. They also went too deep. You do not need much pressure when applying to fair skin. If you are heavy handing this leads to a more permanent ‘tattoo-like’ appearance.
This is why you need to do your research and go to a person with training and understanding of the skin.
