One day while driving with my two young children and my infant niece I had a terrible thought of "Heaven forbid, if I were in an accident and knocked out, how would the paramedics know one of these kids isn't mine? How would they contact my husband?" The more I thought about this "accident" and how the first responders may talk to the kids, I knew my daughter wouldn't answer to the nickname "sweetie" or "honey".
