Day 56 of 75 Hard.

If there’s one thing I’ve realized these last few months, it’s that a lot more people are hurting than we think. Some quietly. Some loudly. Some pretending they’re okay while trying not to fall apart behind closed doors.

This challenge started as something physical for me, but somewhere along the way it became so much more than that. It became forcing myself to keep going on days I wanted to disappear from everyone. Rebuilding routines after feeling like my entire life got emotionally flipped upside down.

Healing isn’t pretty the way social media makes it seem. Sometimes it’s crying in your car, going to the gym anyway, sitting in the sauna trying to clear your head, forcing yourself to eat, trying to find motivation again, and trying to remember who you were before life humbled you a little.

But healing is also accountability. Forgiving yourself for the mistakes you made while hurting. Finding forgiveness for people who hurt you. Apologizing to people you may have hurt, even if they never accept it. Waking up every day and asking yourself how you can become a better person than you were yesterday.

One thing I’ve learned is that staying in situations that drain you will slowly disconnect you from yourself. Your peace changes. Your confidence changes. One day you wake up realizing you’ve been surviving instead of living.

If you’re in that place right now, start small. Go on the walk. Go to the gym. Drink the water. Journal. Pray. Delete the number. Apply for the new job. Start over scared if you have to.

The comments on my last post really stuck with me because it made me realize that many of us are fighting silent battles together right now. We’re all just trying to breathe through it the best we can.

Still healing. Still growing. Still a work in progress. 🤍
