Discipline #4 of a Culture Champion is CELEBRATE VICTORIES.
This past Saturday I celebrated the victory of finishing Ironman Florida. That day I swam 2.4 miles, biked 112 miles, and ran 26.2 miles. I covered the 140.6 mile distance in 13 hours and 54 minutes. Not fast relative to the finish times of the top performers, but that didn’t matter. It was an accomplishment I had been training for for the past 6 months. In the Ironman, when you finish, you are a winner in your own right. So, I spent some extra time celebrating at the finish line. My victory celebration.
