The Lunabotics Mining Competition is an annual event hosted by NASA that challenges university level students to design, build, and test a fully autonomous robot to traverse and mine lunar regolith during a week long competition at Kennedy Space Center. The Lunar Knights team is the first team to compete in the Lunabotics Mining Competition representing the University of Central Florida.
