It's baaaaaaack!!!!! Last year's rummage sale was a huge success, we are thrilled to be gearing up for another one.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not yet able to begin accepting donated items! We will begin accepting donations for the sale July 1st. We will not have storage space until that time.
This year, we are hoping to find some local businesses to partner with as sponsors for our event to help us raise even more money to help the pups!

We've never met a dog (or anyone, for that matter!) who loves the treadmill as much as adoptable Astro!
He's one of our longest residents here at the rescue, and we cannot understand why! He's agile, confident, outgoing, motivated - and INCREDIBLY well trained. This boy has a rock solid recall and place command and is so eager to please.
Astro is a 5 year old Plott hound/Staffy mix. He is a big, active boy and his ideal home would be active and have some prior large breed experience. He's housebroken, crate trained and very well behaved at home.
He does need to be the only pet in the home. But if you're looking for a one and only, ride or die bestie for all of your adventures - please consider meeting Astro and seeing everything he is capable of - we guarantee he will blow you away! 🥰
Please help us share Astro. He's waited so long, we know his people are out there waiting for him, too.

UPDATE: We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support we've received from our followers for Casper. At this time, we've received enough to cover this initial estimate for his crate and training BUT we have a generous donor that has offered to match the next $1500 in donations our post receives - which would double the donations received to help with the current boarding costs while we wait for a training placement for him as well as help us continue to help dogs like Casper. If you're able to make a donation towards this matching donor gift, it is so, so appreciated. 🙏🥰
💔OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN - CASPER NEEDS YOUR HELP💔
Casper is back in boarding. :'( He has an amazing foster to adopt home that is still interested in giving him a forever home, but the severity of his separation anxiety is making it unsafe and destructive for him to remain in the home as is.
He NEEDS an anxiety proof crate and a board and train program to help teach him to feel safe and calm in the crate (we will be supplementing this training with medications and getting Casper acclimated to the crate in a healthy, positive way). The crate plus the needed training program will cost $3000 - we desperately need donations, the economy is challenging right now and donations are at an all time low. We need help to help Casper.
He has already been through so much! Casper was trapped feral in the woods, formerly known as the grey ghost of split oak, he was a wild dog and when he left boarding to go into a foster for the first time - we quickly learned he is extremely anxious about being confined/left alone and is not just destructive but also an escape artist. He can easily open doors, making him a huge flight risk - and the last thing we want is for him to end up back on the streets feral and alone.
He is currently back at the boarding kennel until he can get the tools and training needed to be safe and successful in a home.
EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS! If you can give up your Starbucks tomorrow for Casper, it would mean the world to him and to us. 🙏
