Attended a PTG chapter meeting as a guest yesterday. One room over - this would be 25 years since I sat in that very spot for my early morning music theory class. Same curtains! At least the old wooden chairs are gone haha!
While I was there, I had to take a walk around. Roughly 10 years ago, Fifth Octave, LLC started. The purpose: to give a facility make-over in the music department. We donated the acoustical fabric covering many of the bulletin boards. (Yes, they are also flame retardant.) We also created a rehearsal space with sound absorption.
Time flies but music always lives on. Decades, or even a score and 5!
Personal note: I think it's pretty cool that these boards still look decent after 10+ years of students, hallway traffic, and postings.

My Tribute (To God Be The Glory.) beautiful song, I've been seeing this a lot online. Found my recording from a few years ago and decided to share. I heard of it from a book of Dino Kartsonakis (mentioning disabled.)
Just saw Mark Fuller Music play it.
It's been sometime since performing in public. What good though is music if you keep it to yourself.
If anything, I hope those listening find peace and comfort in our chaotic world.
