With a craft kitchen and menu designed for variety, their signature self-serve tap wall, fully loaded with beer, wine, cider, cocktails, and mocktails, and a hospitality model rooted in high-touch service, the brand turns casual dining into an experience of exploration.

As it expands, Oak & Stone needed a sharper articulation of what makes it distinct. The refresh defined a clear brand positioning and evolved both the visual and verbal identity into a more cohesive system built to support long-term growth across markets and touchpoints.

The new identity takes its cue directly from the tap wall, elevating the brand’s most recognizable feature into a central graphic device that communicates discovery, movement, and choice. A broadened color palette, drawn from the tones of the tap experience itself, introduces warmth and dimension. Industrial typography, structured layouts, and masculine detailing reinforce the brand’s adventurous spirit, creating a system designed to scale seamlessly across digital, environmental, and in-store applications. A gritty, expressive voice grounds the identity in energy and immediacy, setting a tone that feels confident, distinctive, and alive.

has been the heart of the neighborhood in Columbia, South Carolina, since 2016. Serving cinnamon rolls on the side of every plate, continuously innovating its crave-worthy menu, and establishing a welcoming, community-driven space, the brand has built a loyal customer base and a stellar reputation in its hometown. But with demand growing and the potential for expansion on the horizon, they needed a strategic and creative brand refresh to set them up for future growth and ensure long-term success in new markets.

From brand positioning to expressions, our team focused on clarifying and building off what Cinnamon Roll Deli is already winning at. The new logo design, featuring three hand-drawn cinnamon rolls, symbolizes gathering, togetherness, and its handmade food. As an extension of this, a set of graphic elements, also known as “cinnaglyphs,” brings the identity to life across all brand touchpoints. Even the brand voice is inspired by the founder Jodi—warm, inviting, and always makes people smile.

Complete with a brand kit and guidelines, Cinnamon Roll Deli now has an established system that supports day-to-day application while giving the brand the structure to grow into new markets with confidence.

Last week, a few of our team members spent time in Atlanta with our partners at GoTo Foods—and as always, it was time well spent.

We looked back at our successes and wins from 2025, and have big plans to explore new opportunities for continued business and partnership growth in the rest of 2026. We also had the chance to visit the new GoTo Foods concept, Cinnabon Swirl—one our team was proud to help bring to life with both branding and marketing support from concept development through launch. (And yes, it’s as good as it sounds!)
