TUESDAY, JUNE 16TH IS DAY OF THE AFRICAN CHILD.

We are standing in solidarity with Beyond Poverty Africa and partners to honor the resilience of children across our continent. This year, we are shining a special light on the students of Solai Nyakinyua Primary School.

We’ve paired this significant day with our Birthdays for Kids campaign—a mission to ensure no child feels forgotten. We are currently raising funds and dedicating proceeds from our coffee sales to deliver supplies, messages of hope, and endless smiles to these students.

In the spirit of UBUNTU—I am because we are—we are doing our part to lift up those who are often marginalized.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Donate Directly: Visit solaicoffee.com/birthdays-for-kids to contribute to the fund.

Sip with Purpose: Every coffee purchase at Solai coffee helps fuel this mission.

Spread the Word: Share this post to help us reach our goal.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated, and to those currently considering how they can support these children. Together, we can make a tangible difference.

Think you know coffee?

If you've ever stared at a coffee menu wondering what the difference is between a latte, cappuccino, macchiato, cortado, and flat white, you're not alone.

Most espresso drinks start with the same ingredient: espresso. The difference comes down to the amount of milk, foam, and how they're combined.

Consider this your coffee cheat sheet. Save it for your next café visit, and you'll never have to guess what's in your cup again.

Which espresso drink is your go-to order? Drop it in the comments and let's see which one wins. 👇

At Solai coffee the day starts long before the sun clears the horizon.
For farmers like grace Njeri dedication isn't a concept.it's the feel of the misty morning air and the tireless care given to every single tree.
We believe the best stories are grown , not made.

🗣Save this!!

Think a coffee-shop-quality pour-over is too complicated to make at home? Think again.

It’s an art, but it’s an art anyone can master. Whether you’re brewing up a bright, complex profile or a rich, classic cup, the pour-over method is the absolute best way to unlock the distinct, vibrant tasting notes of any of our single-origin premium coffees.

Follow these 4 simple steps to transform your morning routine:

1️⃣ Rinse: Wet your filter to prep your brewer.

2️⃣ Measure: Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of medium-fine grounds per 6 oz of hot water (200–205°F).

3️⃣ Bloom: Pour a little water and let the grounds breathe for 30–45 seconds.

4️⃣ Pour: Slowly finish the pour and let the rich aromas fill your kitchen.

Your perfect cup is waiting.
