Hey all!

Still offering socially distanced lacrosse lessons if interested. Each one tailored to the individual needs of the player. Let me know if you or someone else would like a lesson or workout session!

Unfortunately with the closing of schools and postponement of the lacrosse season- many players will be out of a playing opportunity for awhile. If one of your children or if someone you know has a kid that would like some lacrosse lessons- please let me know!

ONLY. TWO. DAYS. HIW DID THIS HAPPEN?!?!?!
Here I have thrown together a bunch of photos from coaching over the years. Some days I go back and forth between which one I love more- coaching or playing? Let me tell you one thing though- the summer that ladyhawks won the whole tournament? I cried so much - that win was worth more than any win I had as a player (and my sophomore year we won our whole division at nationals!). It was- AMAZING.
Yesterday I talked about how much I love playing but today is about coaching. I will straight up say that when I was applying for the coaching job at gig harbor- I straight up told people “I have never wanted anything more in my entire life”. And honestly, it was true. Getting this job with the Peninsula school district has truly been a blessing- I have never had a more talented or more respectful group of girls. I see big things this year for the Riptides and I can’t wait to be a part of it.

LESS THAN ONE WEEK UNTIL SEASON STARTS!!!! 5 DAYS!!!

This picture actually holds a lot for me.
Anyone who knows me that lacrosse is more than just a sport, it actually runs a lot deeper than that. Let’s break down this picture:
#16 - for those of you who do not know, 16 was my older brother’s number. We don’t always have a ton in common just because of the age gap and gender difference BUT- we always have had lacrosse in common. From me watching all of his games, to him later watching mine. From him handing down the family lacrosse camp to me to him helping me come up with ideas for coaching. I could always pass a ball around with him. My brother Bolton, when it came to lacrosse, was the hardest worker there was and he played the game the way it was meant to be played, he honored lacrosse. I was proud to wear his number with pride.
“Heart and Hustle” - These words are not only my life motto but my dad (and favorite coach) of all time, came up with them. It means be passionate and hardworking and you can do anything. For me as player, as a coach, the harder you work, the better. There is not much more important than having a hard work ethic.
JHL- although he was only my coach for a very brief period, Jim made such an immediate impact. Some of the things I teach my players today I learned from him in that very short period he was my coach. It’s amazing how a great coach can impact your life in such a short amount of time ❤️
