Once the table topics are done, some votes are taken to see who wins the best speaker, best evaluator and best table topics. Some club business may then be conducted and the meeting is adjourned. Different Toastmasters groups have different characters. This group is open to all, from students to professionals, from empty nesters to small business people, from entrepreneurs to storytellers. The meeting space allows for meeting sizes ranging from just a few members to 20-30 members. This is a small, personal group where you will feel welcome and you will have a chance to learn at your own pace. Participation is encouraged, and due to the smaller meeting sizes, everyone has to help out, sometimes wearing more than one hat. While you can attend meetings as a visitor for free, there are dues to pay if you are a fully participating members. The clubs only keeps a few dollars of the dues, while the bulk of the money goes to the Toastmasters, Intl. organization to pay for your membership and online program.
