Letting go of anger isn't easy, but God makes it possible. 🤍🙏
Have you ever experienced a bitterness that you just couldn't shake? When life hits you all at once, it is so easy to lose hope.
Chelsea from Texas experienced this firsthand. In a single month, she lost both of her grandparents to COVID, her husband asked for a divorce, and she was waiting on a cancer biopsy.
Grief and anger took over. She lost her faith, stopped eating, and became bitter toward the people she loved. But then, a glimmer of hope arrived: her biopsy came back negative for cancer!
Here is what Chelsea did next:
"I prayed to God and said, 'Lord, just lift me up out of this funk and give me a spirit of You, God.' I prayed to God for me to be able to forgive because the things I was holding on to were making me bitter and angry."
God answered her prayers. ✨ Over time, Chelsea was able to forgive others and herself. She practices forgiveness daily, and God has brought restoration to many of her relationships!
No good can come from holding onto anger. Through prayer and time, you too can let go of resentment. God is in the business of restoring hearts!

Ephesians 4:31-32. Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
