The Center for Reconstructive Urology is a tertiary referral center exclusively devoted to male urethral and pe**le disorders, including urethral stricture disease, erectile dysfunction (including pe**le implants), Peyronie's disease (and other disorders of pe**le curvature) and the management of hypospadias surgery and prostate cancer treatment complications.

A urethral stricture, if less than a centimeter in length, is often treated by Urologists with dilation. This common treatment is done by progressively stretching the stricture with progressively larger dilators to increase the size or using the safer direct vision ballon dilator invented and published by Dr. Gelman. Hypospadias Treatment 11/06/2019

Hypospadias, a birth defect where the urethra is at the base of the p***s rather than the tip, had inflicted Zach. As his parents explain in this video, Zach suffered three failed corrective surgeries and with compounding scar tissue a compromised kidney was impending. Dr. Gelman was able to successfully complete a two-part urethral reconstruction with sustained effectiveness of the repair.
