Monday Motivation: look farther ahead and let goo... of those dang brakes. Sounds like a life quote

The guy in front of me here on the top of this climb is one of the winningest Tour de France riders in history, was also my first cycling hero. He was always so brash, confident, aggressive and said exactly what was on his mind to the media. Last month there was a group ride and I asked for a picture with him as he rolled by. He denied me. I was a little embarrassed because I never ask for photos with a sports icon and a little fired up inside. About 30 min later here I am on my mountain bike chasing him up this climb thinking what a dick he was. Funny thing is the reason I was a fan before was just that... he was a cocky punk and could back it up. Ironic thing is the fire he lit in me that day is the same fire that drove me when I was a newbie to cycling. Thanks for the inspiration Cav and next time smile for the camera!
